Hey everyone (: So sorry for the lack of posting/ activity/ updates for the past month. I've been running a race with time for the past month and it's taking a toll on me. I feel lethargic the minute I reach home because 90% of my energy has been spent in school. Of course I'm not the only one that's tired, but it's a really big change from my lifestyle a year ago and I'm having problems coping with my homework and assignments. That's why I can hardly find the time to blog, even though ironically, I'm online everyday. (Maybe I should find a mobile blogging app!)

A few updates. This week is gonna be one of my busiest weeks to date. I am going to sit for my Grade 8 ABRSM Piano Exam on the 30th, I'm turning 17 on the 31st (it's a really big deal for me) and I've got lots of assignments and projects due this week too. Strings is taking up quite a bit of my time because now we're having rehearsals 3 times a week. And most of the time, after strings I'll be too tired to do anything. The Strings SYF is on the 28th of April and guess what, we're to our disadvantage because we're performing right after Hwa Chong (which has a really good String Ensemble) and immediately before Raffles (which also has a really good String Ensemble). I wouldn't want to just say that we're 100% gonna achieve a silver award, because it's still too early to say anything. Miracles DO happen, and I believe that it's possible that VJSE can achieve a Gold award.

With my piano exam only 3 days away... The last thing that should happen is an accident. And guess what? IT HAPPENED. I accidentally cut my finger while I was using the penknife to cut a piece of paper this afternoon and luckily or not, I'd only cut off a piece of skin and there wasn't any bleeding at all. I can imagine it much more painful if there was any bleeding, but it's difficult to play the piano now because what I've injured is the tip of my left ring finger. I hope that playing the bass would not worsen it too much.

Also, I haven't had a good start to this week. Initially, I was supposed to be able to meet Jiale, Yee Cheng and Moi on Thursday (my birthday) but it seems that something cropped up for Jiale and so now there is no longer anything to look forward to for the week. Because of my piano exam, I'm missing a great opportunity for a talk about Fashion at Laselle (a fashion college in Singapore) and why it's a great opportunity is because out of everyone who placed Fashion@Laselle as their first choice in my class, I was the only one who got in. It's such a pity because I'm really interested in Fashion ): So all these aside, the only thing I can look forward to is the next weekend.

Sometimes, I feel strongly against the phrase "life sucks"; but today, the only thing I can think of is LIFE SUCKS.
